10:00 Keynote: Where is Primary Science going?Louise Stubberfield
Leader of the Primary Science Campaign at the Wellcome Trust.
This talk will give us an insight into the state of primary science as well as some snippets of Explorify’s best loved activities.
10:40 Workshop rotations
Science through Literacy and NumeracyWhizz Bang Pop Magazine collaborating with Bristol teacher and Primary Quality Science Mark Award Winner Charlotte Thomas. Expanding Science Capital in Primary ClassroomsLiz Lister from the West of England STEM Ambassador hub will give us some tips on how the science capital teaching approach can be applied at primary level. Building Confidence in Classroom Science CommunicationMatthew Tosh – Science Presenter will give us tips on sparkling at presenting science in the classroom.
