Each talk in our Primary Science Curiosity Booster series, aims to top up teachers’s knowledge of tricky curriculum topics while also linking to the city’s culturally relevant links.

In the next event in our series, Enda Hayes, Director of the Air Quality Management Resource Centre at UWE Bristol, will explain how local projects are responding to the climate emergency by looking at improving air quality in the city and managing carbon emissions.

Then Liz Southwell, local Y3 teacher and science lead, will highlight Kid’s Against Plastic, plastic and climate change resources, showing how they can be used as the focus and inspiration for science inquiry and investigation.
