It’s world space week – October 4 -10

An ideal time for teachers and educators to use space-based activities to get kids excited about science and technology.

The official World Space Week Association have put together a bunch of great stuff including:

And if you have a year 6 class, you could get them to take part in the Moon Exploration survey.

There’s also a free local event you could attend – Wells and Mendip Astronomers – are running Space Detectives Virtual Reality Space Spectroscopy, Astrophotography Displays, the chance to drive a robotic Mars Rover and 3D Space Printing.
