Practical Action – Resources

Practical Action have developed a series of STEM learning activities modelled on real life problems. The following web page has pulled together the resources that are most popular with Primary teachers.

Students could help farmers in Bangladesh with The Floating Garden Challenge, Stop the Spread with an activity around infectious diseases or help protect tomato crops in The Squashed Tomato Challenge! Although all STEM subjects are included in this list, they are all heavily science involved and so provide some great practical activities for your students.
