Medical Sustainability Lead

Sam works for the local NHS trust to achieve it’s net zero carbon target by 2030.

Delivering healthcare releases lots of carbon emissions, which impacts climate change – Sam works with lots of people coming up with ideas to reduce the NHS’ carbon footprint, and then he finds ways to pay for these solutions.

Surprising bit? “I get to ride my bicycle all over the city to meet people. I particularly like it when I get to meet people out in nature and enjoy wildlife at the same time.”
