14 Feb 2022

We Make Our Future is a new interactive, educational & entertaining science show for the next generation of engineers. The show has been designed with planetarium experts Explorer Dome, and is part of the Inspire educational work from the Digital Engineering Technology and Innovation (DETI) team at UWE Bristol.

We Make Our Future is a presenter-led experience which can be delivered inside Explorer Dome (an inflatable planetarium) in schools, and is suitable for the whole of KS2.

Earlier this month, the show visited Filton Avenue Primary School, where lots of excited Year 5 pupils took part in the new experience, using their problem solving skills to imagine solutions to some of the biggest problems our planet is facing today.

Thanks to funding from DETI, Filton Avenue were able to enjoy the show for free. The DETI team still have 5 free shows available for schools in Bristol, South Glos, Bath & North East Somerset, and North Somerset*. If you would like to apply for a free show, please complete the booking form below.

*Please note to qualify for a free show schools must be within the West of England region and from an area of high deprivation.
