Be inspired into engineering – videos
Role models for science are vital to showcase different career pathways to children and help them visualise themselves as a scientist.
It’s not yet clear when science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) ambassadors are going to be allowed back into schools to speak to children face-to-face, and so, like so much else in the past few months, role modelling has moved online.
Over the summer, Curiosity Connections commissioned engineering students, staff and alumni at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol to make their own home-videos to inspire children. Why not use the following short videos to give your students a glimpse of what it means to be an engineer?
