Explorify at home

The brilliant team at the Wellcome Trust have kicked up a gear in response to COVID-19 –  creating Explorify resources to support teachers, parents, carers and children with their science.

They’ve created ‘Explorify at Home’, a set off weekly home-learning activities based on primary science currciulum topics. Each topic has a nice short webpage of instructions with videos and suggested activities for different age groups.

But it’s also worth having a look at the extra support the Explorify team have put together now children have returned to schools. These resources include some articles to help teachers tackle tricky topics, and a great piece on how to develop key skills in the short time left for Year 6 pupils before they transition to secondary school.
