New ‘Curious Robots’ workshop – book a free session now!

The DETI Inspire team at the University of the West of England, Bristol are launching a brand new robotics workshop for KS2 pupils in the West of England!

The 2 hour workshop engages 9 – 11 year olds with robotics and coding, by challenging them to create and program a Lego Mindstorm to complete a real-life engineering problem. The children are supported through this process, with plenty of opportunity for them to develop their own ideas & solve problems as they engage in engineering as a creative and diverse subject that impacts the world around us.

The fun, hands-on session draws on several different subjects, including Science (forces, light & electricity), Computing & Design and Technology.

‘Curious Robot’ workshops are ONLY available onsite at UWE Bristol’s Frenchay campus – where we can also offer your class a tour of the Engineering building.
