Best bit? “I love learning about ecology and then sharing my knowledge about it in order to help people make good choices for wildlife, such as leaving long grass for insects, birds, amphibians and mammals to eat, live in, hibernate etc.”
Katherine’s Career Path
Katherine’s top tips for your career: “Remember to focus on things that seem positive, hopeful and bring you joy. We live in a difficult world, and if you pursue an environmental career you will find yourself getting frustrated and disappointed at times because there is so much destruction, so remember to take deep breaths and enjoy all the beautiful things in the world like leaves and trees and rushing rivers and bright blue damselflies by a stream.”
