Katie leads Pledgeball, an organisation that unleashes the power of sports fans – taking small individual actions and uniting them to make a big difference in tackling the climate crisis.
Katie invites sports fans to take actions by making simple, eco-friendly promises, like using reusable water bottles.
Did you know that 1 Wembley’s worth of fans simply reducing their shower time to 5 minutes saves the same amount of emissions as taking over 500 cars off the road?
Pledgeball teams up with sports clubs to support fans to do this, and showcases the power of collective action at fun events and online activities.
“Our goal is to help the sports community become more environmentally friendly and lead the way in tackling climate change.”
