Football Sustainability Head

Peter works for Bristol Sport at Ashton Gate stadium, looking after the stadium’s development, supporter travel & sustainability.

Fan travel is easily the biggest contributor to Ashton Gate’s carbon footprint so Peter works to encourage less polluting options such as bus, train, walking and cycling.

Stadiums and arenas also use a lot of energy for heating, lighting and cooking. Therefore, he’s involved in designing venues to be energy efficient and use alternatives such as solar power – Ashton Gate Stadium has 750m2 of solar panels on the roof!
